Elevate Your Brand with Custom Colored PET Cans
When you think of PET cans, you likely picture crystal-clear plastic. While transparency is our signature feature, at COPAK, we know that some brands demand more. They demand a specific identity, a mood, or a color that screams their name from across the aisle.
That is why we offer fully Customized Color Injection for our PET cans. We don't just shape the plastic; we dye it to match your vision.
Why Choose Colored PET Cans?
1. Brand Identity & Recognition Color is the first thing a consumer notices. Imagine a neon green can for a sour apple energy drink, a sleek matte black can for a premium nitro coffee, or a soft translucent pink for a cherry blossom tea. By customizing the can body color, you align the physical packaging with your brand’s color palette, making your product instantly recognizable without relying solely on a label.
2. UV Protection (Functional Benefit) While clear cans are beautiful, light can be damaging to certain ingredients.
Amber & Dark Tints: Just like beer bottles, we can produce Amber or Dark Blue PET cans. These tinted colors act as a filter, blocking harmful UV rays that can degrade the flavor of hops in craft beer or break down vitamins in fresh juice. It combines the durability of plastic with the protection of colored glass.
3. The "Mystery" Factor Sometimes, hiding the product is a strategic choice. A solid, opaque color (like solid white or black) creates a sense of mystery and creates a perfect canvas for bold, contrasting labels. It mimics the look of an aluminum can or ceramic jar but retains the cost-effectiveness and shatterproof safety of PET.

The Customization Process
Achieving your perfect color is simple:
1.Choose Your Opacity: Do you want a Translucent tint (see-through color, like stained glass) or a Solid Opaque finish (completely blocks light)?
2.Pick Your Pantone: We work with the standard Pantone Matching System (PMS). Simply provide us with your color code (e.g., Pantone 186 C for red), and our engineers will formulate the masterbatch to match it.
3.The "Masterbatch" Magic: During the injection molding process, we mix food-grade color pellets (masterbatch) with the raw PET resin. This ensures the color is integral to the material—it won't scratch off, peel, or fade like a painted surface would.

Minimums & Lead Times
Because this process involves a custom production run, it typically requires a slightly higher Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) compared to our stock clear cans. However, the result is a completely unique packaging solution that no competitor on the shelf can mimic.
