As a manufacturer, we don't just use stickers; we use industrial-grade printing technologies that ensure your brand looks sharp, professional, and vibrant on every single cup. We primarily utilize two methods: Dry Offset Printing and Flexographic Printing. Understanding the difference helps you make the best choice for your design.
Dry Offset Printing: Speed and Efficiency
Dry Offset is the industry standard for high-volume cup printing. In this process, the image is transferred from a printing plate to a rubber "blanket" and then onto the curved surface of the cup.
Pros: It is incredibly fast and cost-effective for large runs (e.g., 50,000+ cups). It allows for up to 6 colors and offers tight registration.
Best For: Simple logos, bold text, and designs with solid blocks of color. It is the go-to choice for fast-food chains and large franchises looking for the lowest cost per unit.
Flexographic (Flexo) Printing: High Definition Detail
Flexo printing is the premium option. It uses flexible relief plates and is capable of printing much finer details and smoother gradients compared to Dry Offset.
Pros: Superior print quality. It can reproduce photographic images, complex shading, and fine lines with high fidelity. The ink coverage is often more opaque and vibrant.
Best For: Premium brands, intricate logos, promotional cups with QR codes, or designs that require a "photo-realistic" look. If your brand image relies on subtle details, Flexo is the superior choice.
UV Curing for Durability
Regardless of the printing method, we use UV-curable inks. Immediately after printing, the cups pass under high-intensity ultraviolet light. This instantly "cures" (dries) the ink, bonding it permanently to the PET surface.
The Result: The print is scratch-resistant, smudge-proof, and waterproof. It won't fade when stacked, nor will it run when the cup sweats from condensation. This ensures your logo stays pristine from the first sip to the last.
Pre-Press Support
We know you aren't a printing expert, which is why our in-house design team supports you through the process. We help adjust your vector artwork to fit the conical shape of the cup (distorting it slightly so it looks straight when printed on a curve). We also advise on color matching (Pantone/PMS) to ensure your brand colors are reproduced exactly as you envision them.
